Amateur Radio Station VA3EOT
The City of Toronto operates an Amateur
Radio Station (VA3EOT) staffed by volunteers, Amateur Radio Operators (Hams).
All Ham Radio operators willing to volunteer as emergency radio operators
for the Toronto Emergency Operations Centre and live in the Greater Toronto
Area can apply to register with the Toronto Auxiliary Emergency Communications
Group.
Special skill sets and criteria are
required to become a certified emergency radio operator for the Toronto
Emergency Operations centre, visit our registration

If you are not already a federally
licensed Amateur Radio Operator and would like to volunteer, amateur radio
classes are conducted every spring and fall. For information on Amateur
